Overview

The Non-Immigrant B is the standard visa for foreign workers employed by Thai companies. A valid work permit must be obtained after entry.

Requirements

Employment contract with a Thai company
Company must meet the 4:1 Thai-to-foreign employee ratio
Minimum registered capital of 2 million THB per foreign employee
Valid passport with at least 18 months remaining

Process

Obtain a Non-Immigrant B visa at a Thai embassy abroad
Enter Thailand on the visa
Apply for a work permit through your employer
Extend the visa annually at immigration
