The Non-Immigrant B is the standard visa for foreign workers employed by Thai companies. A valid work permit must be obtained after entry.
Requirements
- Employment contract with a Thai company
- Company must meet the 4:1 Thai-to-foreign employee ratio
- Minimum registered capital of 2 million THB per foreign employee
- Valid passport with at least 18 months remaining
Process
- Obtain a Non-Immigrant B visa at a Thai embassy abroad
- Enter Thailand on the visa
- Apply for a work permit through your employer
- Extend the visa annually at immigration
