The Non-Immigrant O-A (Long Stay) visa is available to applicants aged 50 and above who wish to retire in Thailand. It is renewable annually.
Financial Requirements
You must meet one of the following:
- 800,000 THB deposited in a Thai bank account
- Monthly income of at least 65,000 THB
- A combination of both totaling 800,000 THB
Required Documents
- Valid passport with at least 18 months remaining
- Proof of financial means (bank statement or income letter)
- Medical certificate
- Police clearance from your home country
- Health insurance with minimum 40,000 THB inpatient and 400,000 THB outpatient coverage
