Chang Khlan

Chang Khlan is one of Chiang Mai's most active hospitality and commercial neighborhoods. Tourist streets sit beside long-established communities, schools, markets and river-oriented development. Chang Khlan Road, Loi Kroh Road and Mahidol Road connect the area to the Old City, airport and river. Much of the core is walkable, though there is no urban rail and traffic builds around markets and hotels. Condominiums and serviced apartments are the main choices, with some older low-rise housing. Compare hotel and nightlife noise, parking, short-term occupancy patterns and flood exposure near the river.
